About Me

I am committed to helping you live a longer and healthier life.

Learn more about what I offer:

There is absolute evidence that being more active can help us live longer, healthier lives. Although becoming more active is simple, it isn’t easy.

My goal is to guide people through the process of becoming physically fitter and to provide concrete instruction on the exercises that will help them.

I became an NASM Certified Personal Trainer to achieve this goal.

My prior jobs have been primarily writing, but the through-line of my career (and hobbies) has been helping people. I have provided software support in a call center, written user manuals and setup guides for software companies, taught group exercise classes at the local Y, guided women in starting mountain biking or gravel cycling, helped friends with quilting math, and created articles on bicycle use and maintenance. It has all been about learning something myself, and then breaking it down and sharing it with others.

The drive to learn has led me to value continuing education. I recently completed the Strength Training the Post-Operative Client course from Barbell Rehab.

I’d like to help you become more fit and enjoy the benefits that offers.
